HOW TO REACH US​
​
Villa Lucia is located in Acharavi, Corfu, Ionian islands, Greece.
​
You can reach Corfu :

by car (you need to take a ferry from Igoumenitsa (mainland, Greece) to Corfu town or Lefkimmi in Corfu)

by airplane - by international flights reaching the airport of Corfu (CFU) “Ioannis Kapodistrias”

Therefore you need to drive 38 km from Corfu International Airport to Acharavi.
Due to many mountains the drive takes approx. 50 - 60 min.
(If you take the road by the east coast, by the sea, the drive takes approx. 1hour 15 min. as this is 48 km and you come to Acharavi from the other side !)

Further, you need to reach Villa Lucia, which is situated in Exit. no 3 (towards the beach), in Acharavi.
This exit is on the left side 20 m BEFORE S-BIKES rental shop and CAR STYLING shop !
(If you take the road by the east coast, by the sea, you will come to Acharavi from the other side and therefore you need to drive through all Acharavi centre and further you need to turn righ 20 m AFTER S-BIKES and CAR STYLING SHOP into Exit no. 3 (towards the beach) ! )

Afterwards, you can take an advantage of RENTING A QUAD or MOTORBIKE right at Villa Lucia in case of a wish to explore Corfu !

COMING TO CORFU BY CAR
If you decided to travel to Corfu by car, you will need to travel on road and therefore to take a ferry to Corfu, as Corfu is an island situated in the Ionian sea, but not far from the mainland at all.

The easiest way to get to Corfu is to reach at first harbour town - Igoumenitsa, in the mainland of Greece.
Second, you need to find the right part of the Igoumenitsa harbour (for national ferries - CORFU) from where you will take the ferry.
Third, you will need to buy your ferry ticket.
Four, make sure you are ready for the boarding (and standing somewhere around the ship) at least 15-20 min. before the official ferry departure !
And as final, enjoy your sea journey to Corfu, lasting approx. 2 hours. :)

FERRY COMPANIES

There is many of ferry companies which operates between Igoumenitsa (the main land) and Corfu.
Also, ferry of every company leaves to Corfu approx. every 1.5 hour, means there is a huge range of ferries going to Corfu all the time.
The connection to Corfu is very frequent and hassle-free.

Up to this year was no possibility to purchase the ferry ticket from Igoumenitsa to Corfu online and you could only do it on spot.

The other possbility to get to Corfu is to reach the harbour town - SARANDA, in the mainland of Albania.
Second, you need to find the right part of the Saranda harbour (for international ferries - CORFU) from where you will take the ferry.
Third, you will need to have with you PASSPORT (not ID, as Albania is not EU country !) and purchase your ferry ticket.
Four, make sure you are ready for the boarding (and standing somewhere around the ship) at least 15-20 min. before the official ferry departure !
And as final, enjoy your sea journey to Corfu, lasting approx. 70 min. :)

The easiest way to get from Italy to Corfu is to reach a harbour town - BARI, in the mainland of Italy.
This is because the connection of BARI <-> CORFU is the most frequent and has the shortest duration.
Another connections (from Ancona, Brindisi and Venice) are not so frequent, as they operate only during the high season.

Second, you need to find the right part of the harbour (for international ferries - CORFU) from where you will take the ferry.
Third, you will need to buy your ferry ticket.
Four, make sure you are ready for the boarding (and standing somewhere around the ship) at least 15-20 min. before the official ferry departure !
And as final, enjoy your sea journey to Corfu, lasting approx. 7 - 17 hours (depending of which harbour you travel from). :)
